Program Details
- Schedule: Saturdays, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Age/Grade: All grades; students grouped by age & level after a placement test/interview
- Program Focus: Quran Reading, Tajweed, Memorization, Understanding Quran Meaning, Islamic Studies, and Fun Interactive Activities
- Fee: $45/month
- Format: Online (live classes with interactive elements and teacher support)
- Teachers: Qualified, experienced in online teaching for children, familiar with interactive online tools
Course Goals
- Build confident and fluent Quran readers
- Teach basic to intermediate understanding of Quranic meanings
- Introduce Islamic studies and moral lessons in a fun, interactive way
- Encourage critical thinking, reflection, and discussion about Quranic stories and lessons
- Provide age-appropriate learning with continuous support
Syllabus / Weekly Overview
0–15 min: Quran Reading & Tajweed
- Recitation practice with proper tajweed rules
- Reinforcement through repetition and teacher feedback
- Flashcards or short games for memorization
15–30 min: Quran Meaning & Tafsir Lite
- Age-appropriate explanation of selected ayaat
- Stories of Prophets and moral lessons
- Interactive Q&A (students answer in polls or chats)
30–50 min: Islamic Studies / Character Building
- Focus on Akhlaq (character traits)
- Islamic manners, etiquette, honesty, kindness, patience
- Short fun activities: quizzes, storyboards, role-play
50–60 min: Wrap-up & Du’a
- Learn a short daily Du’a (e.g., before eating, sleeping, morning Du’a)
- Quick review & reflection
- Weekly challenge or take-home activity
Placement & Levels
- Step 1: Placement Test/Interview (5–10 min online)
- Step 2: Student assigned to appropriate age & level group
- Step 3: Regular progress tracking by teacher
